জাতীয় সংগীত (National Song)

• বঙ্কিমচন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের লেখা বন্দেমাতরম গানটি ভারতের জাতীয় সংগীত হিসাবে জন-গণ-মণ এর সাথে সমান মর্যাদা পায়।

• ১৮৯৬ সালে ভারতের জাতীয় কংগ্রেসের অধিবেশনে এই গানটি প্রথম গাওয়া হয়েছিল।

    সুজলাম, সুফলাম, মলয়জ শীতলাম
    শস্য শ্যামলাম, মাতরম
    শুভ্র জ্যোৎস্না পুলকিত যামিনীম
    ফুল্লকুশমিত দ্রুমদল শোভিনীম
    সুহাসিনীম সুমধুর ভাষিনীম, সুখদাং
    বরদাং, মাতরম।
